Transform your lunch breaks into a delicious homemade meal with this traditional Japanese bento

Created in the early 1200s and popularized during the Meiji period (1868-1912), the bento became the indispensable accessory that accompanied the advent of railway lines with the appearance of train journeys. Travelers can now transport and consume their own food, which is even more convenient for long-term travel.

This light wood Japanese bento is composed of two floors, one of which is subdivided into two parts. It is therefore ideal for filling it with three types of food to make up a complete meal. Its small fabric bags have a fan pattern called β€œsensu” for a refined traditional look.
