Opt for this pretty rounded Japanese table, it will embellish your Japanese interior decoration

This Japanese coffee table is inspired by Japanese interior furniture. It exists in 3 natural colors: wenge (dark brown), light wood (light brown) and cherry (orange-brown). Two circles are cut in the wood at the lateral level. You can recognize the Japanese minimalist style.

Traditionally, this antique table was very useful for drinking tea. We would sit around it, on a cushion on the floor, in a tailor position or on your knees. Today, it can be used as a side table or as a decorative piece of furniture. Opt for this pretty piece of furniture that is both elegant and rustic.

The mix of styles is more and more trendy. Japandi , for example, is an interior art that mixes Nordic hygge and Japanese minimalism. This name was born from the contraction of Japan and Scandinavia. It reflects a cocooning style, bright, sober and refined.

  • Dimensions: 70 x 45 x 30 cm
  • Material: solid wood
  • The Japanese table does not need to be assembled

Find our best advice in terms of colors, materials and decorations to definitively adopt the Japandi style:

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ The mixture of Scandinavian and Japanese genres results in neutral, sober and natural colors . You can use shades from a wide palette ranging from white to black. Give preference to shades of gray and brown: off-white, taupe, fleur de sel gray, earth brown, anthracite, charcoal... The possibilities are endless.

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ If you want to add pep's and color, you have two options. You can choose pastel colors, they are known for their softness. And they will blend beautifully with the neutral base. Alternatively, you can opt for more contrasting colors such as bottle green or midnight blue for your home decor .

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ In terms of materials, we recommend wooden furniture . They are very easy to highlight and they bring a touch of softness and nature. There are many variations such as solid wood, lacquered wood, bamboo or rattan or even oak, walnut... To make it stand out, we recommend adding hemp or linen curtains and other home textiles.

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Create a relaxing atmosphere by focusing on the mixture of materials. To contrast with wood, you can sprinkle your interior with touches of black tinted metal, stone, leather or concrete. Be careful, do not overdo it at the risk of unbalancing and hardening your interior. Our ideas: a stone column, a small rectangle of tiles at the entrance level, a concrete basin in the bathroom...

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Then refine your decoration by choosing the right accessories. For this, there is only one rule: β€œless is more”. This means that you should not overload the decor by using too many small items or trinkets. Choose only functional objects that are useful. And bet on accessories that are pleasant to look at: round shapes, lanterns, vases, stationery... You will get a 100% minimalist decoration!

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Don't forget the finishing touch: one or two green plants. Indoor plants soothe and bring an apartment or house to life. As with decorative accessories , make good use of them and do not tip over. Place one or two in the corner of the room. For plants of Japanese origin, try bud cherry branches or tall, wild grasses.
